With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Puodziukas (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Dr. Julius Puodziukas; and his parents, Julius Puodziukas and Elizabeth Puodziukas. He is survived by: his wife Nicole; his children, Alexander (My-Tu Doan) and Julia (Tomas Jonaitis); his grandchildren, Augustus, Tilia, Gabriel and Theodorus; his sisters, Della Valaitis (George) and Sally Pennock (Chris); his siblings-in-law, Deena Chitovas, Gregory Chitovas (Nora), Angeline Chitovas and Ann McAllister (Richard); and his nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Chris, Victoria, Peter, Paul, Audra, Michael, Angeline, John, Nicho, Melissa and Skye.

If desired, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or Dorothy Ley Hospice.

“Ed and I were classmates at St. Mike's in the early 1960's. He became my doctor for many years through the 1980's. He was the only doctor to correctly diagnose my mother's brain aneurysm during a house call to our family home . He called me in BC that day and said I should come home as my mother was very ill.. He was kind and attentive always. He was the only doctor in whose hands I would have placed my life. I will miss Eddie.”
