Efrossini Karakolis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, at the age of 92, Efrossini Karakolis (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonidas; and her parents, Boris Evangelou and Melpomeni Evangelou. She is survived by: her sons, Theofanis (Fotini), Tasse (Georgia) and Paul (Sandra); her grandchildren, Michael (Melissa), Thomas (Olivia), Nicholas (Ashley), Victoria (Noah), Adam (Ivanna), Evan and Dara (Corentin); her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Avery, Caiden and Zoe; her niece Maria (Christos); her siblings, Kosta (Stonja), Petros (Triantafilia), Nicola and Triantafilia (Christos); Boris (Sophia). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church (1385 Warden Ave., Scarborough, ON M1R2S3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Greek Orthodox Church (1385 Warden Ave., Scarborough, ON M1R2S3). A burial will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the St. Margaret's Cemetery (4130 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1E2R8).
