Egla Louise Brown Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Egla Louise Brown (Toronto, Ontario) is shared. Egla, born on January 26, 1933, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Egla will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Egla by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Egla is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Egla’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: son: Wayne (Angela); grandchildren: Tia and Preston; siblings: Pearl, Phil, Latrel (G) and Winsome (Betty); and several nieces, nephews, close neighbors, friends and Church Family at Oakwood Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Baptist Church (421 Oakwood Ave, York, ON M6E2W1). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Glenview Memorial Gardens (7541 Hwy 50, Woodbridge, ON L4H4W7).
