It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elda Dunham (Toronto, Ontario), born in Lynden, Ontario, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Elda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Howard and Stanley Dunham; her brother Grant (Audrey); and her nephews, Brian and Gary.
She is survived by: her nieces, Brenda Sawyers (Joel), Jill Smydo (David) and Carol Drummond (Frank). She is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews, and four great great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elda to St. James United Church, The Funeral Advisory and Memorial Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
