She is survived by : her husband Peter; her children, Peter Jr. (Wiesia), Martin (Faye), Robert (Savi), Laura, Jacob, Rebecca, Jennifer, Jordan, Liliana and Viktoria; and her sister Edita (Stefan).

“Dearest Peter, and family! Dr Somska was more than my doctor, more like an auntie. I met you both while your were shopping and immediately you recognize that I was Czech, which amazed me! Both of you are such kind & wonderful people. I can only say that I felt such a deep connection over the years of knowing you both & I will miss Elena so very much.
