Eleni Platis Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Eleni Platis (Toronto, Ontario) is shared. Eleni, born on March 3, 1944, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Eleni will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Eleni by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Eleni is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Eleni’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her spouse Spiros Platis; and her children, Konstantinos and Christine Platis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
