She was predeceased by: her husband Donald De Caire; her parents, James Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson; and her siblings, Jack, Edith and Josephine.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Cathy), Murray (Maria) and Glenn (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Brian (Sarah), Adam (Katie), Steven (Brittany), Andrea (Dave), Christine, Michael (Kristen), Jeff (Christina) and Sean (Melanie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8V1K3). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dominic's Parish (625 Atwater Ave, Mississauga, ON L5G2A8). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
