She was predeceased by: her husband Aquilino Torcato; her sisters, Maria Simoes (Manuel), Elisa (Joao), Santos and Francelina Furtado (Francisco); and her sister-in-law Nelia Santos (Manuel).
She is survived by: her brother Jose Alexandre (Helena); her children, Anna Botelho (John) and Jose Torcato (Fatima); and her grandchildren, Melissa Botelho, Christopher Botelho (Sara), Michael Botelho and Jeffrey Torcato. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews, friends.
