Emilio Gatti Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emilio Gatti (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emilio Gatti to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Gatti and Maria Gatti; and his brothers, Salvatore and Luigi (Elena). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gatti; his children, Maria (Brian) and Luca (Claire); his grandchildren, Stella, Jack and Matteo; his sisters, Angela (Frank), Anna (Mario) and Alba (Pietro); and his sisters-in-law, Antonietta, Rosie (Joe) and Lisa (Alain). He is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and Godchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to celebrate Emilio's life may do so through The Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.
