She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco; her daughter Ida; and her son-in-law Pino. She is survived by: her daughter Maria; her son-in-law Gino; her grandchildren, Danny (Isabella), Nadia (Guido), Giovanna (Anthony), Julia (Victor) and Robert; and her sisters, Maria and Arcangela.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Villa Leonardo Gambin, the nursing home where Esmeralda resided.
