He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Vecchio and Maria Laratta. He is survived by: his spouse Soccorsa; his children, Maria, Filomena (Salvatore Scandinavo), Gabriella and Antonella (Joso Grivicic); his grandchildren, Christina, Emma, Grace, Francesca, Gabriele, Alexis, Matteo, Ava, Olivia and Leo; his sisters, Annunziata Vecchio (Bruno Nardo) and Lina Vecchio (Domenico Iozzo); and his brothers-in-law, Mario Rosi (Linda Rubino) and Vito Rosi (Lucia Ceravolo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
