He was predeceased by: his father Robert Smith; and his grandparents, Cyril, Jean Smith, Keith and Anne Driver.

He is survived by: his wife Katie Snodgrass; his mother Belinda Smith; his sister April (Gary Burley); and his aunts, Verna Parker (Lloyd) of Oshawa, Val (Sil Manini) of Holland Landing and Shirley Smith of Bowmanville. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to COVID only a small private funeral will take place at this time.
