He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle. He is survived by: his children, Rob (Joanne) and May (Ben); his grandchildren, Meghann (Paul), Kathleen, Michael (Huddy), Nick (Meaghan), Robyn (Jean) and Sandy (Mimmo); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce and Georgie. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
