He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Kerr and Jean Kerr; and his son Darren. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Heather; his granddaughter Alexandra; and his great grandchild Avyon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and his church family.
