It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ganga Harripersad (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harripersad Sookoo and Rajo Sumaria Sookoo; his siblings, Mewalal, Seeta, Chan and Capil; and his son Mark.
He is survived by: his spouse Keran Harripersad; his sisters, Mala and Rona; and his daughters-in-law, Shenella, Geeta and Vineta.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
