As Garett departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Garett may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Garett leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Hickling; his brother Donnie; and his nephew-in-law Jasper. He is survived by: his father John Hickling (Carolyn); his sisters, Jeri-Lynne Hickling and Tobi Byrne (Greg); and his nieces, Montana Cardoso (Matthew) and Ariel Anderson (JJ).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for any donation to be made to Garett's passion, Ontario Para Wheelchair Rugby and specifically his team the Toronto Titans.
