It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Douglas George Joyner (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Kyla; and his mother-in-law Georgia (Stock). He is survived by: his wife Barb (Stock); his children, Alana and Teygan; his parents, Doug and Marilyn; his sisters, Alison Fardy (Geoff), Sheryl Joyner-Fraser (Ian) and Lee Duncan (Brent); and his uncle Funcle.
In his memory, the family requests that any donations be made in his name to Sinai Health Foundation (Sarcoma Oncology Department) as a tribute to Gary's life well-lived, unwavering spirit and determination in fighting this devastating disease that took him too soon.
