She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph Rego. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Mascarenhas (Leslie), Anita D'Costa (late Christopher), Sabrina Concessao (Vivian), Pramilla Pereira (Carl), Diana Cox (Steve) and Sunil Rego; her grandchildren, Andrea, Aneesa, Anna, Nicole, Rebecca, Keith, Rowena, Errol, Craig, Lisa and Shannon; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Zara, Ethan, Alexander, Andrew, Ava and Rachael. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Alzheimer's Society.
