She was predeceased by: her husband Chester; and her son Ted. She is survived by: her daughter Renata (Elio); and her grandchildren, Robert, Simon and Ewa.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church (12 Denison Ave, Toronto, ON M5T2M4). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X3A1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Genowefa's memory can be made to Copernicus Lodge Snoezelen Therapy or St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation.
