It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Uyeyama (Toronto, Ontario), born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Toshiko; his sons, Grant and Craig; his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Cosgrove; his granddaughter Claire; his parents, Etsusaburo Uyeyama and Mitsuye Uyeyama; his siblings, Takeshi (Kash), Taira (Jim), Mutsumi (Wally), Noboru (Norman), Masaru, Toru (Tom), Mitsuru (Massey), Kiyoshi (Mac) and Sawaye Matsunaga (Dorothy); and his siblings-in-law, Akiko Mukai, Chiz Uyeyama, Kay Sakai (Mitts) and George Hamanishi (Gail). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions a private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
