He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillias Matte and Marie Matte; and his parents-in-law, Joseph Larocque and Magella Larocque. He is survived by: his spouse Rita; his children, Yvon (Sharon), Ghislaine Blais (Terry), Solange Rushon (Fred), Yvette and Ronald (Michelle); his siblings, Rose (Raymond), William, Joe and Roger; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph, Gisele (late Germain), Rolande (Lawrence), Anita (Maurice) and Yolande. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
