Gerardo Fortino Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2026, at the age of 92, Gerardo Fortino (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerardo Fortino to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Fortino and Giovanni Fortino. He is survived by: his siblings, Ippolito, Mario Fortino, Maria Gagliardi (late Antonio), Rosa Caruso (Armando) and Rita Spadafora (late Ippolito); his wife Antonietta Falbo; his sons, Giovanni (Eva), Mauro, Carlo and Franco Fortino; and his grandchildren, Sabrina (Alex), Jessica (Alex) and Matteo (Brianna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele St, North York, ON M3J1N4). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave W, Toronto, ON M3J2G8).
