Giovanni DiMarco Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Giovanni DiMarco (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Amedeo (Virginia), Paolo, Maria (late Remo) and Tarquinio (Anna); and his parents, Antonio and Angiolina.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila (Frank) and Richard (Norma); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Caroline), Daniella (Stefano), Christian, Sierra, Noah, Bisnonno and Sabrina; and his family Dr. J. Chin. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (https://www.heartandstroke.ca) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
