Giovanni’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his brother Pasquale Di Pirro. He is survived by: his wife Concettina; his son Lino; his daughters-in-law, Silvia (Paolo) and Nancy; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Alisa, Jessica and Gianpaolo; and his sister Paola. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Neri Church (2100 Jane St, North York, ON M3M1A1).
