He was predeceased by : his parents, Luigi Calandra and Giulia Calandra; his son Carlo; and his siblings, Palmira (Pasquale), Benito (Pina), Tony and Nick.

He is survived by : his wife Raffaela (Lina); his son Robert (Maria); his granddaughters, Amanda (Jack) and Stephanie (Marco); his great grandchildren, Ella, Chloe and Lorenzo; his brother Guido (Sylvana); and his sisters-in-law, Yolanda and Angela.
