Thomas S. Lee wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Gordon, I heard about your passing. I am sorry we lost touch after high school. You were always great to hang out with. I have a distinct memory us on a ski trip we took with a bunch of high school kids. You wore black jeans and a leather jacket that day. Anyhow, we were sitting in the back seat of someone's car on the way home when you pointed down at your wet jeans and there was steam rising from them! We both then burst out in loud laughter. I also remember when we went to the Prime Minister's Dinner together at the Harbour Westin Castle on the Toronto Waterfront. It was a fund raiser for Prime Minister Mulroney. There was a picture of us together with the PM and cute girl. We both looked very dapper. I will have to look for that photo the next time I am back in Toronto. I am sure I still have it somewhere. I will find it and share it with your family and son so that he know what you were like as a young man. You were always around and always game for one adventure or another.
