He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian and Gloria. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark and Karen; and his nieces, Ashley and Lindsey.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations can be made in Greg's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
