With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Charles Smith (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Smith and Frances Smith; his siblings, Philip, Helen and Mary; his wife Maria Carmen Romero; his children, Esmeralda, Carlos, Evelyn (Alex Sperling) and Mayra Smith Romero (Syed Kazmi); and his granddaughter Lucia Sperling.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5).
