He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane; his son Robert; his brother William (Bill); his grandchildren, Andrew, Anne, Chris, Emily, Keenan, Connor and Kaylee; and his parents, Mary Gladys and William Bradshaw Crombie.

“Dear Carol, John and Jane, On behalf of my father Ken Button and all our family, I wish to extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father Guy. Guy was larger than life to me as a child. He had room in his heart for us all and was so generous towards us while we played together at SML. From boat rides in his big and fast boat, to fixing stuff up for us to play with, I always remember him up and down the rocks doing one thing or another with a smile. A lovely man. Susan and family”
