She was predeceased by: her husband Emerson; and her parents, Dorothy and Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Wendy, Grant (Carol) and Paula (Chris); her grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsay) and Jennafer; her great grandchildren, Emilia and Mateo; her grandchildren, Brent and Jenna; and her caregiver Marla.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home (2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Norway Anglican Church (470 Woodbine Ave, Toronto, ON M4E2H6).
In lieu of flowers, the family would graciously appreciate any donations to be made to Michael Garron Hospital and Heart & Stroke Foundation Canada in Gwen's name.
