He was predeceased by: his siblings, Herbert, William, Frank and Margaret. He is survived by: his spouse Louise Griffiths; his children, Lynne Timney (Glen), David, Kenneth (Janet), Jim (Kim) and Paul (Angie); his grandchildren, Laura (John), Kevin, Paige, Brooke, Chase, Adam and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas and Ryder; his sister Helen; his siblings-in-law, John Graham and Gwen; his parents, Herbert Thomas and Edith Warner Williams; and his friend Glyn.

Those wishing to honour his life may send donations to the SickKids Foundation.
