She was predeceased by: her husband Toshio; her son Mark; and her siblings, Kazuko Atagi, Fumiko Tsubouchi, Eita, Hideo and Akira.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Yvonne) and Gary (Lynda); and her siblings, Toshio and Kiyoko Yamada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Credit Valley Hospital Oncology and Palliative Care Unit, in memory of Haruko Bando.
