She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Bateman and Susannah Bateman. She is survived by: her husband Wolfgang Petschke of Berlin, Germany.; her sons, Brian (Jane) and Gordon (Jenneth); and her grandchildren, Karl, Erik, Colton, Carter and Myles.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, or Victoria Manor Long-Term Care, Lindsay, Ont. where she received excellent care in her final few years.
