Helena Oberc Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helena Oberc (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2026 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helena Oberc to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaw and Waleria; her husband Jan Materniak; her son Stanislaw Materniak (Suzanne); and her husband Michal Oberc.
She is survived by: her son Mieczyslaw (Mathew) Oberc (Malgorzata); her grandchildren, Danielle, Stefanie, Christopher and Alexander (Erica); and her great grandchildren, Rosalind and Beatrice. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home – Chapel Of (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
