Hilda Kimie Mitsubata Obituary

The memory of Hilda Kimie Mitsubata (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2026 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Tadayoshi Mitsubata; her siblings, Allan Sasaki, Edna Fujii, Katherine Phillips, Mary Mori and Stephen Fujii; and her parents, Hyogoro Fujii and Sen Fujii.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon (Lawrence) and Tim (Liz); her brother Sam Fujii of Winnipeg; her sisters-in-law, Jean Mitsubata and Yuri Yamamoto of Toronto; and her grandchildren, Brendan, Taryn Mori and Hailey Mitsubata.

In lieu of flowers or Koden, donations in Hilda's memory may be made to the Momiji Health Care Society and Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
