He was predeceased by: his father Francis Holbrook Badgley; and his stepfather Jim Kappele. He is survived by: his mother Sheila Kappele; his brother Andrew Badgley; his sister-in-law Victoria; his niece Charlotte; his nephew Daniel; his aunt Pamela Nuth; his cousins, Antony (Jennifer) and Rebecca Nuth of Ottawa; and his friend David MacLean.
