He is survived by: his parents, Michael Russell and Ruth Russell (Petrie); his wife Bruna Nota; his son Michael; his grandson Rashon; his stepchildren, Moira Nota-Smith and Martin Nota-Smith; his stepgrandsons, Xavier Lorrain-Smith and Félix Lorrain-Smith; his siblings, Jane and Michael (Marlene Turner); his niece Emma; his nephew Ben; and also Ian.
