With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ian Stewart (Toronto, Ontario), born in Montréal, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Stewart and Irene M. Stewart; his daughter Heather; and his siblings, John, Margaret, Marion, Betty, Kathryn and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Stewart; his daughters, Penelope (Jean-Guy) and Wendy; his grandchildren, Chris, Hayley, Lesley (Shiva) and Christine; his great grandchildren, Ayana and Hugo; and his sister-in-law Betty Stewart.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel (1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON M4S2N4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Humphrey Funeral Home (1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON M4S2N4). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
