She was predeceased by : her daughter Lisa; and her parents, Rooplal and Irene. She is survived by : her husband Lucien (Lou); her sister Una; her sons, David, Daniel (Mackenzie), Michael (Ashlee), Sean (Ursula) and Mark (Nicole); her grandchildren, Madden, Isla, Ellis, Kenan, Josie, Evalea and Bobo'Johanis; and her child Indie.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made in Indie's honor to one of her favorite charities: Canadian Food for Children.
