She is survived by: her children, Mitchell (Lianne McKay), Victoria (Peter Griffin), Christine (Daniel Gilmartin) and Robert (Tracy Seki); and her grandchildren, Michelle and Daniel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Donations may be made in Irene's memory to the Copernicus Lodge Foundation.
