He is survived by: his sisters, Rose Schella, Rhea Berry, Roberta Keane, Stella Sutela, Paulette Walsh, Francine Deslauriers and Monique Albert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

“I knew Jacques in Toronto as he was the partner of my close friend, Susan Elliott. Jacques had a very gentle spirit and took care of my daughter Stephanie for a while in the mornings before she went to school, while we were working. His artistic spirit was present in everything he did. This included sculpture, encaustic and regular painting, installation artwork and cooking. He was such kind man, who saw the world in such a unique way. My family sends their deepest condolences. Lynne Ryall”
