With sadness, we share the passing of James Hilton (Toronto, Ontario). James, born on September 23, 1944, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Hilton and James Hilton; and his brother Geordie. He is survived by: his wife Margo; his daughters, Kate (Sasha Akhavi), Anne (Greg Sullivan) and Betsy (Jamie Macintosh); his grandchildren, Jack, Charlie Hilton-Centa, Theo and Sam Macintosh; and his sisters, Sandy Castledine (Brian Castledine) and Jackie Hilton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel Ltd. (1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON M4S2N4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lawrence Park Community Church (2180 Bayview Ave, North York, ON M4N3K7). A reception will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Vaughan Estate (80 Armistice Dr, North York, ON M4N1J8).
