He was predeceased by: his son Tom; and his sister Mary June McGovern Binley. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Kathleen (Kent Savage), Jim (Sylvia), Rosemary (Barry McInerney), Maria (Kevin Byrne) and Paul (Ed Nelimarkka); his grandchildren, Erin, Marcus, Laura, Lauren, Kathleen, David, Matthew, Kelley, Connor, Cameron, Kristen, Clare, Kieran and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Marabella, Ryan, Marcus and Everly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society.
