He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Megill; his children, Jamie Megill (Anne) and Amanda Swainson (Robbie) of Bermuda; his grandchildren, Teresa Megill, Michéal Megill, Ashley Swainson and Kaitlyn Swainson; and his sister Sharon Brown. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and friends.
