He was predeceased by: his son Doug. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Esslemont; his children, Kathy, Charlie (Barb), John (Susan), Jean (Jim), Don (Jocelyn), Sheila (Rusty) and Maggie (Mike); and his sister Norma. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (115 St Andrews Rd, Scarborough, ON M1P4N2).
