Lisa Destun wrote a sympathy message

“Kathy, Paul, Maria, Michael and family. Thinking of you and all the memories of growing up with your mom around us. I see her knitting with glasses on the end of her nose (or on that chain around her neck), hear her rattling off directives in Spanish, smell her cooking lamb on Sundays, and see her driving us places, talking to us, and giving us hell. She was always a step ahead us, always ready to share an opinion, advice or her time. I'm sorry for your loss and am sending love. Lisa Destun xo”
