With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Benson (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Benson and Robert Benson; her siblings, Ellen Conti (Gilbert), Alan Benson (Winnie) and Robert Benson Jr.; and her brother-in-law Wesley Junkins.
She is survived by: her sister Alice Junkins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
