She was predeceased by: her parent Fitzgerald Delisser; and her husband Tony Friesen. She is survived by: her mother Mary Richards; her daughter Janisa Weekes; her grandsons, Selah and Tefetro; and her siblings, Mitzie, Sandy, Rosemarie, Sophia, Megan and Henry. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R1Y6).
