“Jill and I were best friends throughout our time at Chatham Grammar School for girls and beyond. We stayed in touch and visited each other over the years. I knew Jill had a stroke and was bedridden for some time. I am shattered by the news of her death. However, I know she must not have liked being bedridden one iota. My life was enriched greatly by our relationship and I will miss her tremendously. Rest in Peace Jill! Kate Fraser Haas, Tacoma, Washington.”
