It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo-Ann Ackery (Toronto, Ontario), born in Kelowna, British Columbia, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband John Ackery; her extended family Andrea Ackery; her children, Morgyn, Danika and Megan Martin (Chris Martin); her grandchildren, Braeden, Caely and Penelope; her child Alun Ackery (Kelly Gauthier); her grandchildren, Ella, Tatum and Bennett; and her siblings, Sharon Weir and David Duncan.
